Committees

Committees are composed of people from the church body. Anyone who is interested may serve on any committee.

Administrative—Composed of each committee chair, the Administrative Committee oversees general church issues. Meets every second Tuesday of the month.

Christian Education—Oversees the Christian education of all ages (infants, elementary-aged, middle & high school-aged and college-aged and adults) in the congregation through Sunday school, mid-week programs and seminars. Meets every second Tuesday of the month.

Finance—Oversees the budget and general expenditures of the church. Meets every second Tuesday of the month.

Mission—Allocates 10% of the church's total income to local, national and international mission efforts. Meets every first Tuesday of the month, off-campus. Please contact the Church Office at (818) 842-5103 for address & directions.

Nominating—Prayerfully selects members of the congregation to serve a term on Session and the Deacon boards. Meets as needed.

Outreach—Oversees plans for evangelism and outreach while encouraging each member to reach out into the local community to share the good news of the Gospel. Oversees related groups such as Alpha and the Food Committee.

Personnel—Oversees all church staff. Meets as needed.

Property—Maintains both north and south church campuses. Meets every first Tuesday of the month.

Travis Weaver Children's Center (TWCC)—Oversees our weekly day care, Travis Weaver Children's Center. Meets every first Tuesday of the month.

Worship—Oversees our worship services, including weddings & receptions. Meets every first Tuesday of the month.
